John started with the family firm in 1971 and obtained his Funeral Directors license in 1973.  John became President of the company at the time of his father's death in 2000.

Mrs. Gwendolyn Kane and her husband Robert opened the doors to the R. S. Kane Funeral Home for the first time in 1950.  Her continuing dedication to the business and the families they have served is tireless.
